From 5:30pm to 8:30pm on December 6th, the Shadbolt Centre will be transformed into a winter wonderland with activities and events for the whole family. "Shadbolt's family-friendly Celebration has become a seasonal favourite," says Julie-Anne Slade, Special Events Officer at the Shadbolt Centre. "The Seasonal Celebration offers a great opportunity to experience all kinds of creative options with friends and family." In addition to choral and instrumental music performances, the Seasonal Celebration features a variety of dance and theatre performances as well as hands-on family activities. Some take-away activities include Christmas ornaments and gift tags, festive face painting, creative clay, pastel drawings, gingerbread families and the ever-popular wreath-making workshop. The event also includes seasonal treats and creative demonstrations& watch as ice sculptor Saburo Shibanuma uses his unique talent to create a work of art out of a 500-pound block of ice!
